My phone case is magnetic so this holder works really well. I tried with my boyfriends phone, and I didnt like it quite as much. The metal piece included was the exact size of the magnetic so it needed to placed with precision. I also feel like the clip could be a little stronger... But we also have fairly large and heavy phones and cases. I am going to give to my friend who has an iphone 5s and recommend she gets a larger metal plate and then it should work perfectly!
