I bought these boots for my grandson that isn't really walking around good yet, I thought the soft soles would work okay for him to walk around in while holding on to the furniture which is what he is doing right now.
They do fit him good but his foot does slide to the side a little but he still seems to like wearing them and with them having fur on the inside I feel they keep his feet nice and warm and that is important with the cold weather here now.
They are made of suede and have the furry fleece on the inside so I am sure they are warm on your little one's feet. They are constructed well with no loose threading or imperfections that I could see.
