I like boiled eggs. So do my kids and my hubby. We like them for breakfast, on sandwiches, and even in salads. What I don’t like is peeling boiled eggs. They are terrible. I always seem to lose like half of my egg and it ends up looking like some kind of monster egg that got most of its layers of skin peeled off. This is really not that appealing, and I don’t like losing half of the egg. It frustrates me so much when it happens that I really just want to dump them down the garbage disposal and walk away, but I don’t like to waste things, so eating the monster egg always seems to be my fate. I have tried a bunch of different things that are supposed to make peeling the egg easier, but none of them work. I have thought about making deviled eggs, but the state that my eggs end up in after peeling would be rather off-putting to those that decided to eat them.
Enter this wonderful gadget. You crack the eggs into it and it boils them. No more peeling! Also, so long as you use a bit of nonstick spray, they even end up looking good. No more monster eggs! I can even look into those deviled egg recipes now because the eggs look good enough to actually eat. Even more fun is that you can mix things in with the eggs while they are cooking and eat them out of the cups. My whole family really likes these…even to the point where I am looking into buying another set!
