These connected quickly and easily to my iPhone and laptop. They charged very quickly also. The sound is surprisingly loud for such a small speaker. I've not used both together but they would give a lot of volume if that's what you needed. I actually gave the second one to my daughter and kept one for myself since I didn't really need two. I got these because the sound on my laptop is never loud enough to watch videos but now with this I'm good to go. I'm very please with the sound, the size and the connectivity of these speakers.
