I just got new counter tops and I am crazy to keep them from getting scratched up.  I have these under everything that gets drug over them.  When someone scoots my canister set out, it doesn't scrape on the counter which makes me very happy.  There are so many sizes and shapes to choose from, that I can find the right one for whatever item I am trying to keep from scraping the counter top.  These are different from most felt pads.  They are a type of rubbery material that doesn't slide as easily, so what ever you put them on stays put until you move it.  I love them!
