perfect stair runner

I used this to run up the side of my stairs so I don't need to turn a light on at night just to go down. I wiped down the area i wanted the lights to stick to with rubbing alcohol to make sure it was a clean surface for the 3M tape on the backside of the lights. Put the power/ dimmer switch near the hand rail out of the way and ran my lights up the stairs. Removing the backing and pressing in place as i go. I did have a foot or so extra but the lights have cut off areas makeing it safe to trim.
