There’s no on/off switch. The second you are plug it in, it’s ‘on’. 
I love the automatic sensor that turns the light on or off when a hand goes in or is taken out. The automatic timer countdown is nice too. You can fit your whole hand under the light at once and as soon as you do the timer starts counting. There is no UV light but the LED light functions at higher frequency than your regular LED cure lamps.
