I bought size 8-9 for and average 8 yo niece but I will end up leaving it for my almost 7 yo. daughter instead. Length wise it's way shorter than pictured and my niece would have to wear shorts underneath not to expose her bottom. When my daughter tried it on it was below her knees and loose on torso so I think this will fit her well next summer.
Fabric is soft and nice on touch, doesn't seem to wrinkle, colors are bright and just as pictured.
