Worked okay but not for dark hair

I wanted a bit of color in my hair but didn't want to go to the extreme of dying it. These chalk combs by #BigOtters would've solved my dilemma if they only worked well. Combing it through was easy but was very light and almost nonexistent.  My hair became extraordinarily sticky and hard to brush after using it. I ended up washing it out. I then tried it in my daughter who is blonde. I had a but better luck but still it was nowhere near as vibrant as depicted in the stock photos. I was highly disappointed in this item but gi I've it props for ease of just having to comb it up through. At 9.99 I thought it should work a lot better than it did. No, I wouldn't buy this one again!
