Not sure why they are so stingy with USB ports on a laptop. But, I do love the speed that a C type port gives. This gives me 4 ports out of just my 1 C port, and the speed is excellent. You definitely want to use this port, instead of your regular 2.0 USB, if you’re transferring large files, video, pictures, etc. Nice braided line, and I needed that because the C port is super close to my other USB, so I didn’t have room to use one of the devices that fits flush. Excellent!
