I have tried a few other fitness tracker brands over the past year and haven't been fully happy with what they offered. I found them to be inaccurate, to not hold a charge, to be challenging to charge, etc. But I was willing to try another brand, especially since it offered so many different color options for the bands! I was eager to get it and try it out.
And honestly, since I received it and learned how it works (which was super easy), I haven't taken it off except to charge it while I shower. I LOVE this thing! I have been SUPER impressed with how it is working and all it offers me. I picked this one because it has a pretty purplish colored band on it is not as thick as some of the other fitness trackers i have seen.
I have learned SO much about what I do and don't do. I had no clue how little I was really sleeping at night. I always knew it took me forever to fall asleep, despite whatever wind down routine I implemented, but this has shown me exactly when I fall asleep, which is always far after I go to bed. It tells me how much deep sleep I get compared to how much light sleep, and I am now able to better understand why I am always so tired. I read up on the deep sleep needs of individuals, and though I get an average amount of deep sleep for what a normal adult of my age needs, I also have found that they are right in saying that it varies from person to person. The one lone night I got 2 hours of deep sleep and 5 hours of light sleep, I woke up refreshed and ready for my day. Anything less, I wake up tired and feel like I need a nap. So I now know I need a minimum of 2 hours of deep sleep every night to not feel tired the next day. The challenge? How to get it.
I also see how little movement I do during the day. Being a stay at home mom who works on my computer all day, I realized how much I sit and am not moving. Yes, I am up and about all the time, sitting for brief periods of time, but nowhere near the amount of exercise I truly need in a day. And it has a reminder if you have sat for too long, notifying you that it is time to get up and move again. I love that because sometimes I get so caught up in what I am doing I forget.
But what I realy love? The notifications! If my phone rings, I see the name/number of who is calling on my tracker. I also have the wrist notice on so my wrist will vibrate to tell me. If it is a message from a text, it tells me the name. If it is a facebook or instagram or twitter post, it notifies me with the social media notice and their name. I love this! Because I get a lot of notifications each day, my wrist will buzz a lot. But I always know if I need to stop and look at something because I see a name go across my arm.
This is so worth the less than $30 it costs to buy. The battery life is truly amazing. I haven't gotten down less than 60% yet and it retains it for a long time. It also charges super fast. I can go from 60% to fully charged in the time it takes me to shower, which is not long. And it syncs with my phone perfectly to give me detailed reports of everything and graphs to show progress or changes. I use an Android device and it has worked flawlessly. It has been accurate when used alongside my phone's tracking, and so much more convenient since it is on my arm and not in my pocket or purse.
I HIGHLY recommend this tracker and am SUPER pleased with it. I am so happy I have it.
