I've been wanting to get a new tie back for the curtain on my bedroom window. Everything I've used tends to slip. So when I saw I could get a great discount on these new type of magnetic tiebacks, I figured I'd give them a try. I was worried at first because the knobs are kind of heavy and I wondered how they wouldn't slip. But then I realized that I can connect the knobs so that they are holding right on top of the curtain. The magnets are strong enough that they'll attach through the layer of fabric. Now I'm not sure how thick of a drape they'd hold through this way, but it works with mine. That way they they don't slip and stay in place nicely. I like them a lot. I might have to get a few more sets of these to use in the other rooms of my house!
