For the past six years of doing foster care, I have had to use a rear facing car seat. Because of that, I wasn't able to easily see the babies from the front seat. I have used a car mirror attached the back head rest the whole time. But my old mirror has been having issues and it was time for a new one. It did me well for six years, but the portion that allows you to rotate and position it has become stripped and the mirror no longer stays in place.   The mirror is simple to use. It has a plate that attaches with velcro and adjusting straps to your headrest. There is a piece that locks in to place on the attaching plate and then to the back of the mirror. The mirror is wide and large, rectangular in shape, and is shatterproof. Though my old mirror was also shatterproof, I did end up with a crack in it that didn't grow, but was still there.   I was easily able to put the three pieces together and strap it in on to the headrest on my backseat where they baby sits. She looks at herself in the mirror and babbles, and when we are in the front seat we can turn around and look in the mirror to see what she is doing or if she has fallen asleep. When I am driving I am easily able to look in my rear view mirror to see her in the backseat mirror and know what is going on and whether she is okay. It has made traveling with kids much easier and reassuring. I don't worry about whether she is doing something she shouldn't be, choking, or anything that would make me need to pull over because I can look in the mirror and see her. Plus it makes it easy to communicate with her since she can see me back.   If you are a parent, this is a must. My mom has talked about wanting one of these for her car now for when she has the grandkiddos. Of course, little missie is the youngest of the bunch, so the last one to be in a rear facing car seat and she is almost big enough and old enough to turn around to front facing, so there really isn't much need for one much longer. But since I do still plan to keep her rear facing awhile longer, I definitely needed a new mirror. And this reminded me of why I needed a new one! So much clearer, stays put in the position I put it in, and works great!   #RankBoosterReview #sponsored #superart #carmirror #backseatmirror #carseatmirror #babymirror #safetymirror #shatterproofmirror
