I have really long, thick hair and this stuff works.  I usually keep it up, but now and then, I do like it down and I am constantly fighting tangles and knots when it is down.  This helped me be able to brush right through them and left my hair smelling really great and soft.  Not an oily soft either, just a nice conditioned soft.  Very impressed with it
