I'm actually not using these lights in water so I can't say how they work when wet. Instead, I decided to put them in the curio cabinet where I keep my husband's ashes. My husband loved life and was a social butterfly and we like that the colors bring him a little bit of "festive" atmosphere. I like that I can turn them on and off with the remote and that I can set the color, let it scroll through all the colors, and even dim them. It's perfect for what I wanted and I love them!
