This is a hard abs case that functions to protect the Nintendo Switch, it is on the bulky side for someone with small hands but it works great to keep it safe. The plastic is impact resistant and can take a drop from 3 to 6 ft without issues, the plastic however does scratch easily and can quickly look bad. Overall though, this case works for our needs and can for you aswell
