These carabiners have held up well to the elements of being outside in the rain and sun 24x7. There is some slight wear on the points that make contact with the flag's grommet but that is to be expected from the constant rubbing that occurs. The spring that holds the clip shut is strong and actually takes some force to move. I would definitely buy again.
