The first thing that struck me about this guitar tuner was how absolutely compact it is, but at the same time how large its screen is in relation to its overall size. I was expecting it to be much larger but I pleasantly surprised by its portability and light weigh. Overall the plastic body feels like it is made of quality plastic. The spring for the clip is also of high quality supplying the perfect amount of tension. Strong enough that it won't move by itself but not so strong that it may do damage. Clipping it onto your finger it feels perfectly balanced. On the inside of the clip it is coated with orange rubber padding to also protect finishes and be anti slip. The head of the tuner can be rotated on two axis. On one axis it can spin 360 degrees around and the other axis it can bend 135 degrees to help you get the perfect view of the screen. On the back side there is a battery cover and one button. The tuner is powered by one CR2032 which is included. The cover is easy to take off with a coin using the slot on the cover or by your finger nails by pushing on the two little nubs. The cover is marked with the direction to turn it and the battery type. The button is used to turn the device on by a long hold and also in changing modes with short presses. The device powers on instantly after a long press and has a nice white back light glow for ease of viewing. When tuning the screens back light turns green. This clip-on tuner works by contact vibration so it will not be triggered by other people practicing in the vicinity. The screen and arrow are easy to use to tune your instrument up or down quickly.
