This small yet compact battery operated pencil sharpener by #theMingNorStore works great and is super safe and easy to use. I like that the blade cannot be accessed when the knob is on the sharpener itself. It sharpens all of our colored pencils as well as our #2 pencils super fast ( within 3-5 seconds). The fact that the blade is encased where little fingers can't get to it makes this really safe. I like that this sharpener comes complete with a 2nd battery to be able to use and or a long time. At $6.99 this sharpener is worth the price!
