This has a flat shaving surface so it's much gentler than those kind with the flat blade with teeth. 

It's a very pretty pale pink and nice and compact.

It comes with a battery and a stiff two sided cleaning brush.

The on/off switch is just a slight turn of the battery compartment lid. Yes, the design is very minimal and simple.

It works great! It gets close and leaves skin smooth.
