I tend to use the gel hand warmers normally (the ones where you crack the little disc inside). To be honest, I find them a bit of a chore because you have to boil them in water to re-use them. I saw these electric handwarmers and felt compelled to give them a go.
They look modern & sleek - a tiny bit chunkier than gel ones, but they sit nicely in the hand and feel comfortable. The pink colour is lovely but they can also be purchased in black. The cables are included, as are instructions, but they are super easy to use anyway. I love the fact that you can use one in each hand or simply join them together with the magnetic design, and make one jumbo hand warmer. Fantastic!
There is a clear digital display on the front of the hand warmers and there are 3 levels of heat setting. I tend to just use the first level but I'm sure that will change as the season gets colder. I feel that these would make a great gift for the elderly who might benefit from a bit of warmth, they are great for dog walkers, people with circulation problems etc. They are so good to have around. Especially now I am being more careful with my central heating because of the energy price increases.
What gives these the edge on other hand warmers is the fact that they are also power banks. For me, this just makes them that little bit extra special. They are ideal to pop in your bag and I am so happy with them. Buy them - you will not be disappointed!
