Forget the kids, these are great for those adult type coloring books that we all love. The colors are bright and they color smoothly. A lot of colored pencils make a dry sound while you are coloring and I hate that sound. These color so smoothly that it's a lot more fun to color and doodle. And again, the colors are brilliant and the mixture of colors are anything but ordinary. Nice price for quality pencils.
