I also bought this for my niece who was expecting.  After her husband set it up I was amazed by the clarity and sound.  They could watch the baby sleeping during the day or at night with the night vision setting on their phone and could be anywhere when they did.  Also, being their first baby they were a bit anxious so having this really helped them to be a little less anxious.
