I am always taking pictures from my iPhone. In the space always gets filled up quickly to have a thumb drive to take the pictures off my phone directly is an awesome idea. This device does that. Download the app on your phone and then hook it up and follow the directions. I use the file transfer to put the pictures on the drive. Once there you can put them on your computer with the USB hook up part.
