This little thing works it way little by little until it cleans the air in my kitchen. I have been using a lttle over a week. I guess im using it in too much off a big room to allow to perfom the way it should. Its oscillatiing and night light features are a added benefiit, where the night light intensity can be turn up or down. Also there are two speed settings on the device. I would definitely recommend this as a buy.
