pretty dancewear

I bought this for my daughter to wear to dance classes and rehearsals. The first thing I noticed was how soft the fabric was and my daughter said it feels nice against her skin. My daughter is about to turn 7 in a few months so I ordered the 6-7Y size but I probably needed to order up to the next larger size because this was a little smaller than her other leotards in a similar size. I liked being about to adjust and scrunch the neckline but my daughter said the string was a bit scratchy on her chest. I will probably scrunch it, tie it off and cut the excess string away. I also noticed that the fabric was quite sheer and I could make out the tiny details on her undergarments so I have to be sure she wears solid, light colored panties under her tights and this leotard. I washed the leotard on the hand-wash cycle and hung to dry. I didn't notice any shrinkage or pilling of the material. Overall, it is good quality dancewear at an affordable price.
