The padding part was made decent...but the straps do feel kind of cheap and are big for toddler age, although in the last few days this thing has been tossed and fought over with 2 girls ages 2 and 3 and it's held up pretty dang good! I put the strap all the way down and do a crisscross across on their backs and it seems to fit well. Good gift for small girls to feel like mommies
