Made well but for larger birds

The Adjustable Parrot Bird Harness Leash - VIPpet Anti-Bite Training Rope Outdoor Flying Harness and Leash is okay. The leash itself is made well, I like that it comes as a 2-pack, and the instructions were clear and easy to understand. My only problem was is that it’s not as adjustable as I need. When I make the part that goes around the bird smaller, it puts the leash off to the side (see pictures). Additionally, the space where the head goes makes me nervous. My bird was not super impressed and the whole idea once I got it on didn’t sit well with me. I just feel like she’ll end up getting hurt wearing it due to it not fitting her good enough. I have my African Grey staring at the other one and she refuses to let me put it on her. I think I’ll end up with the same problem though, the harness being off to the side once fully adjusts as my Serama Bantam chicken and my African Grey are about the same size. Overall, the harness is well made, easy to follow, and would probably work well on a larger bird.
