These say that they are recommended for a small dog, but i bought them for my Pitbull puppy. So far after a week she has only gotten the squeaker out of one toy and torn the rubber tennis ball off on another toy. None of them have actually been torn apart, which is very rare for toys to last in such good condition. All of the dogs love these toys and the material is soft yet very strong. They can definitely hold up to their intended purpose.
