~ Why ~
Our beagle does not bay but has a loud bark so we have trained him using barking collars. Since the last one worked so well but fell apart quickly, we hope this control collar will last longer. I appreciate that it can be used without the shock feature but only the beeping warning sounds or vibration so our pet is not injured.

~ Why Not ~
Some may think shocking a dog is cruel. I do too, so I use the vibration only to stop my dog from barking. It may not work for small dogs as the block may be too heavy and big to wear constantly. If the collar is too long, it can be trimmed with a pair of scissors.

~ Wish ~
I marked this collar down a half point as I do not like its looping collar because one cannot simply click it to get it on or off the dog; it is a hassle to loop it through and tighten the tab. It would be nice if the block was even smaller, but it is more compact than other no-barking systems.

~ Want ~
If you are looking for a way to silence a barking dog without hurting it, this is may be the answer that will work even when you are not home as it vibrates whenever the dog barks.
