Great Shower Head

I’ve been using this type of shower head for a few years now and I love them!  I always make sure I have an extra on hand.  They aren’t real high quality and do need to be replaced more frequently than one you’d pay a hundred bucks for.  But for the price, if it lasts a year then that’s a great value.

So what’s so great about this shower head, anyway?  First of all, the tiny pinholes in the head increase water pressure.  That means if you don’t have great water pressure in your house (like me), it’s a big help.  But then that is the downfall, too.  The tiny holes eventually get plugged up with mineral deposits.  But the thing comes apart so you can take the metal disc off and soak it on vinegar and that helps clear the holes.  

The other thing that makes this desirable is the appearance.  You can see it looks neat, with the little balls on there.  There’s something mentioned about ions, etc.  I don’t know how you’d tell if that were a true benefit.  For me, I figure there is at least some filtration going on with the water running through the chambers with the littl balls.  And that’s gotta be good, right?

So basically, if you struggle with getting decent water pressure in your shower, I’d definitely recommend getting one of these.  If you think they look neat and ate thinking of trying one, go for it!  Once you start using this shower head, you won’t go back to a regular shower head.
