I love how thick these are.  They work exactly as they should.  The non-slip grip gives me confidence that a hot pot will not slip out of my hands when I am carrying it.  The best part is that they are machine washable, so they can be washed if they get food on them.  The size is perfect because both my husband and I can use them.  Often when you buy mitts they do not fit the males in the home. I have taken dishes out of the oven and have not felt the heat with these mitts on.  I will be buying my mother a pair for her kitchen as well.
