fun sensory activity set

I purchased this sand set for my daughter to play with in her sensory table. She loves it so far. The sand is magical. It is loose sand but becomes solid when she models it and then appears to come alive and move on its own when it flows down the from its molded shape. It is pretty cool to play with and even the adults were fascinated while playing with it. I was a bit worried at first because it looked like the sand was staining my daughter’s skin even after brushing the sand off but it wash off with a scrub of soap and warm water.

The set comes with 4 packages of different colors of sand (blue, green, purple and red) which weigh a little over a pound each. The sand is packaged in plastic zipper type bags. We decided to store our sand in plastic lidded containers for less mess and easier storage when it came time to clean up. It also comes with an inflatable tray, hand pump to inflate the tray, a press with 6 different changeable design plates, 12 molds and 12 sand tools. This is a great sensory activity for kids.
