I will start this by saying that it is a great drill and it comes with the battery in the base and the charger. I was very surprised when I received the drill in the box and all of the other pieces were outside of the box. The packaging needs help it would be so much better if all of the pieces were in the box together. it's very easy for pieces to get lost or dropped or not put in the package at all and you risk customers having missing pieces by not including all of it in the same box together
