This dawn to dusk LED lightbulb is really nice on my backyard patio where for my dog at night. It is so much easier than trying to remember to turn on the light each night. I put it in the light socket very easily. It only uses 12 watts of power, which is much less than a standard bulb. It casts a warm white light, which is sufficient for my patio use. This lightbulb can be used indoors or out. It automatically turns on when the light around it goes below 20 lux, and goes off when it is above 30 lux. Unlike compact fluorescent bulbs, this bulb contains no mercury which is better for the environment. The bulb has a 50,00 hour lifespan.
