I was skeptical when I got this for my boyfriend. I really didn't think that a monocular this size which could attach to a phone would be very good. We took this on vacation to the beach and were able to spot dolphins waaaaay out in the ocean. We also used it to watch osprey and identify planes. I was impressed with how clear the viewing was. No halos, easily adjustable to bring things into focus, and without a case on your phone, it lines up rather easily and takes some good photos.
