I bought this straightener because I needed one that heated up quickly. I am always in a hurry before leaving the house, so I do not have the time to wait. I have straight/thick hair that is hard to manage. However, I have been able to get smooth hair without the frizz. It is an automated dual voltage product; therefore, it does not need any settings. The product is made of ceramic material and does not produce static electricity unlike other products.
