These are not the same as the heavy duty gaiters at the hunting supply store. They are good for keeping the bottom of your pants from getting wet in tall grass or from getting briars stuck on the bottom of your pants when walking through tall brush. They work well for those purposes. They are a decent quality at a decent price.
