great beginner drone

This Potensic Camera Drone is a great drone for a beginner. The controls are pretty simple and easy to quickly learn. Some of the reviews for the drone app aren't great but I really didn't experience any issues with it at all. The drone connected without any issues and I haven't had any problems with it every time I have used it while flying the drone. The app also includes some helpful videos with step-by-step instructions on how to get started and learn the controls.

The drone is very lightweight which can cause a bit of an issue if it is even slightly windy. The camera takes great pictures and video. The battery life is only about 10 minutes but this drone came with two batteries so I got about 20 minutes of flight in total before having to recharge. The batteries charge up fairly quick but it only comes with one cable so the batteries have to be charged one at a time. It would be better if it came with two cables, a dual cable or even a type of charging port but that is not a major issue. The GPS feature worked perfectly. My first battery started to get low so the drone flew back to the starting point and landed safely. 

The follow me feature was neat. We set it and it followed us while recording as we were riding our ATVs. I like that they included a storage case to keep the drone safe and secure while traveling with it. The drone comes with blade guards, extra blades, landing gear and other parts to repair the drone if it gets damaged. My husband has a larger, much more expensive drone that takes a great deal of learning and skill to fly. This drone is simple enough that my 6 year old daughter was easily able to control it herself (under close adult supervision) in a matter of minutes after some instruction on the operation of the controls.
