These aren't too thin, actually made very well overall although I would have liked it to be a touch bigger. I was able to get two of the larger quilts that my nana had sewn for me into it and I think that it will be great to protect them from any dust or water just anything ruining them. Overall I'm happy with these, and probably will end up buying more.
