Cool Treats for the Summer

These reusable ice pop molds by GTI are nice because you can control what is going into them. The molds themselves are BPA free, which I find very important. These molds are star-shaped, and I got the color blue. There are 6 of the molds. The lids have their own built-in stick for your popsicles. You can fill them up with whatever you like from fruit juices to fruit infused water or even Kool-Aid. Once you fill them up you put the lids on them, and the bottom of the molds have an indentation in them to fit directly into a base that is also star-shaped. Make sure you have plenty of room in your freezer because they sit upright. I had trouble putting them in my freezer that was full of things and had to put them in my chest freezer that I keep out in the garage. After pulling the ice pops out of the freezer I found it fairly difficult to remove them from the molds. I ended up breaking one of the sticks trying to remove the pop from the mold. I hit the mold on the top of the freezer to loosen them. Some of the ice pop chipped off and fell to the ground when I pulled it out of the mold. Get yours at goo.gl/swiAXp
