I tested this little beauty out last night to see if it would do as promised. It turned my VERY thick and tough Chuck Roast into a steak I was able to GRILL and enjoy instead of having to roast it for 6 hours! I placed the CUSIBOX on the chuck roast and pressed down to cut through the fibers in the meat and did this on both sides of the chuck roast. Next, I covered the roast in salt (it also helps to breakdown these fibers) and left the salt on for one hour before rinsing the salt off and marinating for two hours with Dales Seasoning.
The end result? I cut of meat with the flavor of a sirloin, the tenderness of a round steak and the price of a chuck roast (2.99 lb)!
