This little light is very high quality. It contains a genuine super-bright Cree LED chipset, and is focusable by sliding the barrel. It is made of heavy duty anodized aluminum, with a glass lens, and the tailpiece threads in using several threads. It has waterproof seal rings and a nice pocket clip. It can be used with either a AA battery or (better yet) a rechargable Li-Ion 14500 battery. It has 3 different modes ofoperation: High or low intensity or flashing.
I am used to cheap pocket flashights from Walmart and Ebay, and I must say this light is 1000% higher quality than my others and is built to last a lifetime. This may well be the last pocket light I ever buy (unless Santa buys some for the grandkids). It is the little brother of the Solaray ZX-1, which I already have. A great set of lights!
