I have several knives and this did an excellent job. But I am into sewing and crafts so I have much more scissors of all types. It did a great job on the scissors but not so good for blades. Most of which I have rotary cutters using the round blades. The sharpemer did a great job as expected for both knives and scissors and I am highly satisfied. I recommend for cooks and tailors alike.
