I received my foam flowers in brilliant colors. As stated, they are not self-adhesive and do require a small amount of glue or tape to stick them on. I like glue dots because there is no drying time. My granddaughter has been busy making all kinds of creations and when she is happy, I'm happy. This is a really nice set.
