This is a beautiful piece of fabric, that would work well as a mask for a child or an adult with a small head. I could barely pull it over my head and once on I felt like it was strangling me.. However, I must note in the scarfs defense, I am overweight, and wear a 7 1/4 hat.. I ended up giving it to my 15 year old grandchild because it fit them and didn't cause them to feel choked.. It is well made and will work well for what it was intended for!
