I got this for my husband for his birthday. He doesn't smoke a lot, once a month or so, but I saw a friend who had one and knowing my husband loves cool gadgets like this I thought it would be a good gift. And it was a huge hit. We lit his birthday candles with it.
It came presented in a very nice gift box, so it looked very up scale. The piece itself is very well made and you can't accidentally turn it on in your pocket. You have to flip up the lid to make the button work. All in all it's a solid piece of kit, and it is rechargable...so unlike people who have to refill zippos (smelly and messy), this will last just by plugging it into a USB.
Even for non smokers I could see this being an excellent gift. My Dad who has never smoked in his life would think this was very cool. He has matches around for things that this could take care of. He camps, goes on his boat, and also has candles to light for birthdays. It's a great for the person who likes cool gadgets.
