Iv been wanting silicone pot holders mostly because the ease of cleaning. This was a good deal I think for 4 of them instead of just 2. The texture might make them a little harder to clean but much easier them a traditional hot mitt or cloth pot holder. Cloth ones wear out and usually find out the hard way by burning your self. These a whole would be obvious and you can use them as counter or table savers. You can set down your hot pans on them or use them to help aide in opening stubborn jars! It really helps you get a grib on jars when your hands are wet or maybe greasy or maybe if you dont have a grib strength.
