I have owned a lot of headphones, but I never seem to find ones that I like really well though and end up giving them to my family members. Everyone in my household actually has a set of nice headphones except for me (picky, picky me). I have been looking for something that I could use on the computer to allow me to listen to movies, stories on YouTube, or while gaming. Since I spend a lot of time on the computer, it is imperative that they be comfortable for long periods of time, and frankly, a lot of headphones are not. They either lay weird on my head or make my ears feel like they are crammed into something after a while. I also wanted something wireless because I really hate having wires strewn across my office in order to reach my computer. Unfortunately, I’ve had Bluetooth headsets before that lag behind just a little while watching videos, and it drives me nuts. Sooooo, I needed something that was wireless, but without sacrificing timing functionality. Needless to say, when the option to try these came along, I jumped at it.

First, the look of them is great. They remind me of a gaming headset in their style, but without being really flashy. While I do like some of the flashy headsets, I don’t necessarily feel like I need it, and that it might even be distracting while gaming. They are completely black, silver and red, and are sharp while still being simplistic. The cushioning on these is great! There is a nice cushion across the top of the head. It is nothing fancy, but is the perfect size to keep it from feeling like it is weighing on you or trying to create an indent in the top of your skull. There is also cushioning in the earpieces that is soft and helps block out sound. They completely cover my ears and I can use them for hours without feeling discomfort. They are not heavy like some headsets, but do have a nice solid weight to them.

Feature wise, they also perform really well. They fold so that they can be easily stored, and they have power and volume controls on the right earphone side, and charging and aux ports on the left side. It is nice that there is a capability to use the wireless functionality of these while they are charging, so that you aren’t without them. Of course, they do charge more slowly when they are in use, but that’s to be expected. I also like that there is an aux jack in case I ever need it. The headset actually comes with both an aux cable and a charging cable, so you are pretty much set out of the box. In fact, mine were even charged and able to be used the moment I opened them.

Setup on them was really easy. I was able to pair them quickly with both my computer and my phone. In fact, the only issue that I have with these is that, when I connect them to my phone, I have to redo the connection on my computer. Luckily it takes moments, and is not at all difficult, so it is not a big detraction. Overall, the positives outweigh that one negative, so I’m not going to complain.
