Yes!!! This set is fantastic. We use this over top of a cold weather comforter and it keeps the bed nice and toasty. Having the velvet pillow covers really creates a nice slumber as they aren't sticky or "scratchy" as some blanket velvet can be if your skin hits it at the wrong angle. Our cat loves jumping up to sleep on the bed and I find that his fur doesn't cling to this as much as it does a regular cotton blanket
